We have a long history of listening to churches…

By 1957, incorporated as the Cyril-Scott Company, Mac and Tom were wholly focused on giving churches exactly what they had asked for. Using NCR paper to supplant traditional carbon copies, they created the One Write System, state-of-the-art church record and contribution report forms that freed churches from the onerous task of using carbon paper.

The One Write System eventually inspired a name change, and Cyril-Scott became the One Write Company as a reminder of what we still do each and every day:

  • listen carefully to our clients,
  • develop innovative ways to serve them, and
  • come up with creative ways to inspire the spirit of giving

…and we continue to think outside of the box.

Today, under the leadership of Tom’s son, Norm Boyd, and grandson, Andrew Boyd, One Write carries on the tradition of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service. With our revolutionary, perfect-bound One Write Envelope Book inspiring more and more people to give, One Write provides church offering envelopes, forms, and other giving materials to more than 10,000 churches and organizations around the world.

Gloria joined the One Write family in 1977, took a little time off to start her own family, and came back to us again to work part-time and then full-time in 1991. Gloria oversees all of the details that go into running our office from handling incoming email and web orders to answering phones on busy days. She also follows every printing job from start to finish, preparing job jackets for the press room, tracking jobs to make sure they stay on schedule, and invoicing once orders have shipped.  When Gloria isn’t keeping us running smoothly, she’s running around trying to keep up with her husband, her three grown children, and her seven grandchildren. In her spare time (!), she also works for a local auctioneer.

In fact, she’s so good at it one of her customers stopped on his way from Pennsylvania to Colorado just to meet her in person. Tracy lives on a small farm with her husband, two sons, two pot-belly pigs, four dogs, five cats, and assorted pygmy goats and cows, and enjoys shopping with her mom and checking out auctions and flea markets.
